Welcome Message: In order for students to be successful, they must feel comfortable at and connected to school. Our goal is for the school counseling office to be a welcoming and comfortable place for students and parents to discuss problems, voice concerns, and/or just spend time!

Biography: Mrs. Below has been a school counselor since 2009. She has been at Pleasant Valley School District since 2016. Mrs. Below graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and from Marywood University with a Masters degree in Elementary School Counseling. Prior to becoming a school counselor at Pleasant Valley, Mrs. Below worked as a long-term substitute school counselor at various districts within Monroe County, and also worked in a private counseling practice. Mrs. Below enjoys working as a school counselor because she loves getting to know and helping so many great students and families. She is thankful for the opportunity to help students at PVI grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
