Be A B.E.A.R.

Pleasant Valley Intermediate School has a new Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative beginning this school year. PVI students will be learning about Be A BEAR.

B - Be Responsible

E - Engage Everywhere

A - Act Safely

R - Respect Yourself and Others

 

 

What does it mean to Be A BEAR?

                                     

When students are consistently showing the above behaviors, they can earn Bear Bucks. Bear Bucks can be cashed in at the Bear Den once per month for positive experiences with the school setting. The menu of items available through the Bear Den is linked below.

                                   

Whole classes can also earn Bear Bucks. Those Bear Bucks can then be cashed in for a whole class reward such as lunch in the courtyard, a class period of board games/Legos/arts and crafts, 15 minutes of extra recess, etc.
