Mrs. Albright is delighted to continue as the Principal of Pleasant Valley Intermediate School. She is dedicated to leading and supporting the students, teachers, and staff. Mrs. Albright looks forward to another year of inspiring and supporting the school community in achieving success and growth.

Prior to her role as principal, Mrs. Albright was the assistant principal at PVE for five years. Mrs. Albright has always enjoyed working with elementary-age students. Before becoming an administrator, Mrs. Albright taught second grade in Allentown School District for 11 years. She earned her bachelor's degree from Moravian College and has two graduate degrees from Wilkes University. She achieved National Board Certification in 2013 and her Educational Leadership Certification in 2018.

Mrs. Bencker is thrilled to continue her role as assistant principal at Pleasant Valley Intermediate School. She believes in education's power to create positive change and is dedicated to nurturing each child's growth. Committed to a holistic approach, she believes that every child can learn.

Prior to this role, Mrs. Bencker taught in Allentown, Fleetwood and Bethlehem, focusing on grades 1 to 4, especially in the intermediate grades. She is pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at ESU and holds a Master's in Reading and Literacy from Walden university, A Master's in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University, and an ESOL certification from Moravian University.

Mrs. Bencker values collaboration with students, families, staff and the community to enhance education. She emphasizes communication, active listening, empathy and understanding in her leadership. Mrs. Bencker is eager to use her experience and passion to foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for all students.
